The Choir was started by Grenville Jones this January. Grenville is best known for his leadership of the famous Silver Ring Choir. His new male Choir has grown to over 60 singers in only 9 months. They come from all across the area, West Witshire, Frome, Cheddar, Midsomer Norton Radstock, Nailsea and South Bristol and Bath of course!

Ticket price is £15 which includes a glass of wine from the wine bar which opens at 6.30pm. To order your tickets please call 01761 472468 or see www.bathmalechoir.org.

Guest soloist in November is mezzo soprano Jeanette Ager, a popular choice with Bath audiences, having sung at concerts in the area on many occasions. Her most recent concert was in Bath Abbey with Sir Willard White, when she was one of the soloists in the memorable performance of Mendelssohn’s Elijah in April.

The Mayor of Bath as Patron of The City of Bath Male Choir, will be the special guest on November 4th.

Grenville says:

“It will be a unique evening for the choir members, their families and friends. We have been working hard at weekly rehearsals and on Saturday November 4th we sing in public for the very first time. It promises to be quite a night.”
