THE second meeting of Bath’s new male voice choir is set for next Wednesday 22nd February in room E3 at Beechen Cliff School.

The City of Bath Male Choir is led by Grenville Jones, conductor also of Bath’s famous Silver Ring Choir. Numbers for Grenville’s new male choir are already over the 40 mark.

“The cynics told me that there were not enough men in Bath to support a male voice choir. I hope they have put a note in their diary to come and hear us at our first concert in the Guildhall on Saturday November 4th!” says Grenville.

He is aiming for a choir of 80 voices by November. Prospective members are welcome to go along next Wednesday or call Grenville on 01761 479352
