From Last Choir Standing to First Choir Running as 43 members of Bath Male Choir have signed up to run in the 2010 Bath Half Marathon this March. They are led by founder conductor Grenville Jones who has been in training since September and has already shed over a stone in weight. Many of the other members are trimming down as they now go into serious training. Some of the choir members are experienced runners but also a large number, like Grenville, have never run before in an organised event. Will they all make it around the 13 mile course at the West's biggest Half '..??
The date is Sunday March 7th and the Choir will be raising money for two Charities - the target is £10,000 and whatever we raise will be divided equally between The Prostate Cancer Charity (Reg No: 1005541) and the Golden-Oldies Charitable Trust (Reg No: 1121600)

PLEASE sponsor us!
...help us raise £10,000!
Anything you can give us through sponsorship will help us to raise a significant amount which will be divided equally between the 2 charities. Golden-Oldies has only been going 2 years and is making a big impact on the lives of hundreds of lonely and elderly people across the West of England. More money will help the Charity to start new fun singing sessions and add more smiles in the months ahead. Bath Male Choir has forged a strong link with the The Prostate Cancer Charity. The Choir were guests at the Society's 2009 Christmas concert in London and will support their vital work in other ways in the future.
