in February 2006
Choir members come from across the area. If you are aged between 16 and 65
and love to sing, why not come along and meet us?
The
Choir was formed by Grenville Jones in January 2006
and now totals over 70 singers. Grenville’s target is a Choir of 80, come along to a rehearsal and find out more.

The City of Bath Male Choir will be one of the groups on stage at the 2008 May 3rd SHOWCASE charity concert.
Order your tickets now to hear the City of Bath Male Choir on stage at the Bath Forum on Saturday June 28th. They will join forces with the Silver Ring Choir of Bath and special guest, Britain’s Favourite Tenor, Alfie Boe.
Rising star Soprano, Rhiannon Lambert will also be appearing which promises to be another fantastic night of popular music. Tickets priced £35, £25 or £15 are available from Bath Festival Box Office on 01225 463362.
IN only a few months, the City of Bath Male Choir has certainly come a long way. Its first concert was held in the Guildhall, Bath back in November 2006, what a night that was. The Choir then appeared on stage at the 2007 Bath SHOWCASE charity concert ( organised by Grenville Jones, our conductor ) in front of an audience of 1500 people with guest appearances from jazz singers Clare Teal and Jamie Cullum.
In July 2007 the Choir performed with Aled Jones who was knocked out by the fresh sound of England’s newest Male Choir! A memorable trip to Germany took place in 2007 and the second packed annual concert at the Guildhall early in November. The Mayor of Bath is Patron of the Choir and the Choir sang at the official Mayor-Making ceremony in March 2007 in Bath Abbey – see picture above. The Choir also made a guest appearance, again in Bath Abbey, last November at a concert raising money for the Forever Friends Appeal.
In June this year the Choir set out for Holland and a concert tour . Local people will see them taking part in the fun, fun fun Widcombe Rising on Sunday June 15th when they go ”head to head” with the delightful Handbags of Harmony from Chester in a battle of the choirs!!

Cliff Methodist Church.
The CD is called Anthem and has 9 items,
