Bath Male Choir is different. It has a world-wide following through its appearances on the BBC ‘Last Choir Standing’ series. It was recognised as a "real" choir of amateur singers - the boys next door - who made a BIG sound. Russell Watson called Bath Male Choir the "wall of sound.." and now, with over 80 singers, the wall goes on.

NEW MEN WANTED!
We’d like to tell you more and we’d like to meet you! There is an open invitation to you and your friends to come along to a rehearsal to see for yourself. You will find us at Culverhay School in the Upper Hall, Rush Hill, BA2 2QL on Tuesday evenings from 8pm.

This is the top hall at Culverhay School from 7.45pm to 9.30pm. The school has a large drive-in car park and potential new members are invited to come along and give choir singing a try. If you like what you hear and then want to join, Grenville will give you a simple voice test. Younger men new to singing are particularly welcome!

2012 was another busy year and Bath Male Choir raised many thousands of pounds for Charities. These included a Cornwall weekend with 2 sell-our concerts - performances for the BBC and a Christmas concert in Bath Abbey for the The National Osteoporosis Society.

The Choir already has a busy programme lined up for 2013 including a tour to the Isle of Wight. Other 2013 dates will see the boys from Bath singing in Bath Abbey and Malmesbury Abbey. There are also social events and numerous opportunities to make new friends! The concert page always updates you with details.

The City of Bath Male Choir was founded in February 2006 by Grenville Jones. This is a Choir that is making a BIG sound and gaining a huge reputation. You may have been one of the millions of TV viewers who saw them on the BBC’s Last Choir Standing TV show in August 2008. Bath Male Choir reached 5th place.

You will find on this website full details of our up coming 'concerts'. The Choir now totals over 90 singers, the 'Wall of Sound' is getting bigger and bigger! Grenville has proved that, contrary to public belief, MEN DO SING!
